8 Reasons why the idea of women have become “too easy” is totally false
It’s getting more common for people to complain that women have become too easy and are more willing to have casual sex but they’re wrong. Women aren’t having more consensual sex, it’s just that sexuality is more acceptable to talk about now and it seems like women are engaging in behaviours that they never used to.
1) The media
Sex sells and the media is full of scantily clad women trying to sell products. This makes it seem like women love showing off their bodies and having men lust after them but in reality it’s just their job. They’re using their looks to be successful but that doesn’t mean they sleep around. There are plenty of models who are selective about who they date and are in committed relationships.
2) Men bragging
Men also have a tendency not to mention the women who turned him down so it seems like everyone they ask out will sleep with them on the first date.
3) Women care about their reputation
It’s easy for a woman to get a bad reputation if there’s even a hint of her engaging in consensual sex too often. They don’t want this to happen so they avoid situations where rumours might get started about them. They won’t go out with just anybody and will try to come across as being decent and respectful.
4) Awareness of STI’s
There’s more awareness of STI’s but they’re still seen as taboo. Women don’t want to deal with the embarrassment of catching one so they’re going to be careful when it comes to consensual sex. They’re less likely to sleep around and will make sure that the men they sleep with are free from STI’s.
5) Women respect themselves
Women know either from experience or from talking with their girlfriends that a one night stand isn’t always great. Afterwards you could feel dissatisfied or used and women don’t want to feel this way. They care about themselves and won’t make decisions that could lead to them feeling like they did something wrong.
6) Women need an emotional connection
A lot of women need to feel an emotional connection with a man before they sleep with him which means they’re going to wait before having sex. They want to get to know him because sex is scary and vulnerable when it’s with someone new so they want to feel safe with him.
7) Women think ahead
Women think ahead more than men do and won’t take chances with things like pregnancy. They’ll limit the number of sexual partners they have to decrease the chances of a mistake happening as well as to seem more pure when they do end up finding Mr. Right. The last thing they want is an awkward conversation with their future husband about their wild past.
8) Women want sex to be good
Sex with a stranger is rarely amazing because you don’t know each others rhythm or desires. It’s usually awkward with a lot of fumbling but in an established relationship you know how to make sex good for your partner because you know the right moves to make. Women want sex to be good and will be more focused on a long term relationship instead of a one night stand.
